The xFusion Server Compatibility Center is a searchable library of officially validated server configurations — which processors, memory, drives, RAID controllers, network adapters, power supplies and operating systems are certified for each FusionServer model. The data is taken from xFusion’s official compatibility database, translated into English, and organised so engineers can verify a configuration or identify a compatible part without navigating a JavaScript-only query tool.
We currently cover 27,000+ validated line items across more than 100 server and node models and roughly 4,000 unique part numbers. Model pages are being released in batches by generation and demand; models whose pages are still in preparation are clearly marked and cannot be linked yet.

Server models
Models are grouped by generation. Current V6–V8 systems are our main focus; older V5 and V3 platforms are retained for maintenance and spare-part reference. Click any model with a live link to open its full compatibility page.

How to use this center
- Verifying a configuration? Open the model page and confirm every part number appears on the validated list before procurement or deployment.
- Expanding an existing server? Check the Memory, Hard Drives and NVMe tabs for capacity and speed options, and note any RAID or backplane requirements.
- Identifying an unknown part? Use the part-number lookup — paste a single code or an entire BOM to map parts to models and categories.
- Tender or bid response? Every listed component is an official validated SKU, so matrices can be cited in technical proposals with the source category and status.
What the lifecycle statuses mean
Each listed part carries an xFusion lifecycle status so you can judge whether it is suitable for a new build or for maintaining an existing fleet:
- Current (GA, General Availability) — in production and orderable for new systems.
- PILOT — available under pilot or limited rollout; confirm regional availability.
- DEVELOP — published on the roadmap or under qualification; timing should be confirmed before committing to a project.
- EOM (End of Marketing) — no longer sold new, but still supported and commonly available as spares for installed systems.
About xFusion FusionServer generations
xFusion’s rack portfolio has evolved across clearly numbered generations. A quick orientation:
- V8 (current) — Intel Xeon 6 platforms (Granite Rapids performance cores and Sierra Forest efficiency cores), DDR5 and PCIe 5.0. Naming drops the older "H" suffix on mainstream models, e.g. 2288 V8.
- V7 — 4th/5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable, DDR5, PCIe 4.0/5.0 storage; large validated catalogues.
- V6 — 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable, DDR4, PCIe 4.0; some models split into 16-DIMM and 32-DIMM variants.
- V5 — 1st/2nd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable, DDR4; mature and widely installed.
- V3 and earlier (RH-series) — legacy platforms retained mainly for repair and spare-part identification.
Beyond general rack servers, the compatibility database also includes high-density multi-node enclosures, GPU servers and specialised nodes; these are listed in the model grid as their pages are prepared.
xFusion compatibility — FAQ
Where does this compatibility data come from?
All entries are derived from xFusion’s official compatibility database for FusionServer products. We translate the Chinese source to English and present the same part numbers, descriptions and OS builds; we do not invent parts or infer cross-model compatibility.
Why can I only open some model pages?
Pages are released in batches so every published page is complete and reviewed. Models marked "in preparation" have no link and no placeholder page, which prevents thin pages and 404 errors. New batches are added by generation and demand.
How accurate is the data?
Part numbers and OS builds are reproduced exactly from the official source, but configurations and lifecycle statuses are updated by xFusion over time. For a binding procurement decision, confirm the specific part and status with us at quoting time.
Do all listed parts work in every configuration of a model?
Not always — some parts depend on the backplane, riser, drive cage, PSU rating or regional SKU. Validation lists the compatible parts; population and mounting rules may still apply. Share your full configuration and we will check these dependencies.
Can I use EOM parts for a new project?
EOM parts are not recommended for new designs because they are no longer marketed, but they are legitimate, supported spares for maintaining existing fleets. For new builds, prefer Current (GA) components.
Do you sell the servers and parts listed here?
Yes. We supply complete configured FusionServer servers and individual validated components with warranty. Use the part-number lookup to identify what you need, then send us a list for quotation.
