Honest note: the dual-socket 2258H V8 is our most capable 2U general-purpose platform. If a single processor is enough for your workload, the single-socket 2158H V8 can lower your licensing cost; for a cost-effective established build the 2258 V7 remains a strong choice, and the current-generation 1U 1288 V8 leads the compact range. We will recommend the right platform rather than overselling any single one.
